Clearly not all dogs are built the same way.
Solo walks provide your dog with an opportunity to explore and walk at their own pace. This is perfect for dogs with extra bounce or for those who prefer a more leisurely stroll.
If your dog is reactive towards other dogs and needs walking on their own with a sympathetic handler, then I can help.
Or are they an older dog who now prefers to take things at a steady pace?
Perhaps you have a youngster needing appropriate individual attention?
There are many reasons why it’s sometimes best to walk a dog alone. Perhaps your pet is older and unable to keep up with the more energetic pups, or they may not feel comfortable around other dogs.
Our affordable, personalised dog walks are JUST what you’re looking for.
How does my dog join your walk?
I come to your home at the agreed time (we can make access agreements so that you do not need to be at home) and I will take your waggy friend out for a walk which meets their energy levels and socialisation needs.
I will agree the location with you beforehand and will send a photo of your dog enjoying his walk via WhatsApp.
What if I’m training my dog?
We completely understand the need for consistence and continuity when you are training your dog.
At Teignside Pets, we only use positive reinforcement techniques and with the ability to give your dog our full attention, can continue your training by using the same cues and rewards for desired behaviour.
Where do you walk?
We will agree the type of walk your dog needs and go from there! Whether your dogs needs to run non-stop or be somewhere away from other dogs, we will make every walk day with us the best day ever!
I can walk in your local neighbourhood or park, so that surroundings are familiar or will happily transport your dog(s) by car to a large, safe site like the park or woods for extra fun and exercise.
The location and type of walk will be tailored to your furry friend’s needs and preferences.
It is our aim to keep your dog fit, entertained and happy.
